History of Blonde Jokes

Blonde Jokes can often in times be very offensive especially to one with blonde hair. I feel like I sort of have the green light to post Blonde jokes because I am a blonde and I am basically making fun of my own kind.  these sort of Jokes all began to bud from a stereotype of the Blonde. The Blonde is viewed in two aspects. On one side, people view blondes as often very attractive and desirable humans. But on the other side blondes can often be viewed as one who relies more on their looks than their intelligence.  Or in other words “dumb blonde”.

I would like to point out that there are definitely many intelligent blonde humans out there who are very successful, smart, and attractive. Often times blondes have their moments though. I have had my moments for sure and growing up with a blonde sister..well..lets just say I’m not the only one. (Love Ya Sis:) So these jokes are not meant to offend anyone. Blonde jokes are simply meant to make fun of a certain type of human. I find a lot of Blonde jokes very funny and appealing and I hope you do to.

The other Thing about Blonde Jokes, is that the media often perceives the blonde as an attractive human with little common sense at times. So the whole word is really playing along with the whole dumb blonde stereotype. According to past research, hair color often can be an important trait when determining the persons overall intellectual ability. Blonde jokes are almost always specific to females. 95% of all Blonde jokes are specifically directed towards females. Even though the dumb blonde stereotype is usually directed towards females, it can be directed towards males as well.
